Job Title
Staff Engineer – Thin Films CVD/DIFF Advanced DRAM
Relocation Level: TBD
Responsibilities- Technically innovate by driving strategic and tactical decisions at project and platform levels, contributing to feasibility studies, and proactively engaging technical challenges before they become problems. Develop and incorporate new and improved thin‑film deposition processes to build High Aspect Ratio Advanced DRAM features and devices.
- Operate with a clear vision to link wafer performance to hardware performance, and drive solutions that improve key film metrics such as uniformity, conformality, quality, selectivity, and electrical or optical performance.
- Lead initiatives to ensure projects meet technical and operational requirements and program KPIs.
- Influence cross‑functional teams, leading interactions with suppliers and other stakeholders, and communicate status and plans to leadership with a focus on technical fundamentals and model‑based problem solving.
- Drive project roadmaps, execute development and maturity timelines, and deliver continuous thin‑film improvements within the hardware‑process space.
- Master’s degree with 2+ years of experience in Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field, or PhD research with relevant industry experience.
- Hands‑on experience with thin‑film deposition and process troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of ALD, epitaxy, or plasma‑based deposition fundamentals.
- Experience using data‑driven methods such as DOE, SPC, and basic materials characterization.
- Ability to work independently and clearly communicate technical results.
- 5+ years of experience in semiconductor thin‑film deposition or manufacturing.
- Experience applying AI, coding, automation, or data science in process development.
- Proven ability to deliver results through cross‑functional teamwork.
