Seeking a Mechanical Engineer with experience in industrial facility systems, HVAC, piping, plumbing, and mechanical infrastructure design. This role supports complex manufacturing and facility upgrade projects through design development, engineering calculations, equipment layout, construction documentation, and field coordination. Responsibilities include supporting installation of manufacturing tools, retrofit projects, utility systems, and infrastructure upgrades within fast-paced industrial environments while collaborating with multi-discipline teams, clients, contractors, and equipment manufacturers.
Pay: $49.04- $57.69 per hour DOE
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
- Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical facilities engineering including HVAC, hydronics, plumbing, exhaust, and process piping systems
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification with pursuit of PE license
- Experience with industrial or semiconductor manufacturing environments preferred
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Navisworks software
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively on multi-discipline teams and manage fast-paced project demands
- Field experience in industrial facilities preferred
- Strong interest in construction, facility systems, and engineering design
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Ability to work onsite Monday–Friday in Boise, Idaho
- Develop mechanical system designs and construction documents for industrial facility projects
- Design and layout HVAC, piping, plumbing, exhaust, fire suppression, and process utility systems
- Support installation and integration of manufacturing equipment and facility upgrades
- Perform engineering calculations, equipment sizing, and specification development
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, equipment owners, and multi-discipline design teams
- Assist with RFIs, submittals, construction support, and field coordination
- Support retrofit projects and modifications to existing facility systems
- Collaborate in fast-paced manufacturing and industrial environments while ensuring project quality and performance
