Position: New College Grad - New Product Operations (NPO) Supply Planner

Req  New College Grad - New Product Operations (NPO) Supply Planner

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with engineering and business teams to collect NPI demand, ensuring specific requirements are understood and documented
  • Monitor and validate master data completeness and accuracy (individual components and their BOMs)
  • Validate information required to generate an accurate supply response, including yields, cycle time, site loading, capacity boundary conditions, etc
  • Employ Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions to produce a weekly build plan that meets the business need
  • Confirm manufacturing teams reserve capacity and purchase direct materials to support NPI needs
  • Bring awareness of supply shortages and capacity constraints to appropriate stakeholders. Resolve supply gaps where possible
  • Transfer responsibilities to high-volume planners after product has launched
  • Help steer development of evolving Strategic Planning job role
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
  • Master's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering or equivalent highly preferred
  • Experience in leading multi‑functional teams to successful resolution of complex problems
  • Proficient data analysis, and statistical techniques skills
  • Proven record of managing successful projects
Preferred Qualifications
  • Basic SQL programming language skill
  • Excellent technical, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to lead by example in demonstrating Micron values
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast‑paced, work environment
  • Cursory understanding of the semiconductor manufacturing process
