Req Senior Process Technician, DRAM
As a Process Technician in the Wet & CMP Process Planar DRAM Group, you will assist PD engineers with managing process support logistics for innovative technology development. You will primarily be responsible for line maintenance and process support activities and will have many opportunities to learn and grow while interacting closely with process module owners.
The Senior Process Technician will work collaboratively to support HVM process transfer activities and proactively address process issues and inefficiencies. This role requires strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and disciplined execution. Ideal candidates are comfortable working with data and are capable of extracting, analyzing, and interpreting trends and clearly communicating insights. Success depends on effective communication, strong organization and time management skills, the ability to work independently, and flexibility with responsibilities and shift schedules.
Responsibilities- Recognize abnormal conditions and apply structured problem‑solving methods; troubleshoot process and hardware drift issues
- Create, change, and maintain SPC charts
- Apply GCP principles (Golden Control Plan) to ensure new tool or recipe setups match expected performance during process conversions and SPC changes
- Perform PMI support activities, FD set‑up/maintenance, and verify and monitor R2R controllers
- Adhere to safety protocols in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and participate in tactical meetings
- Associate degree, technical certification, military training, or applied coursework in science, engineering, manufacturing, or related disciplines
- 4+ years of experience working in relevant Process Technician or equivalent roles
- Experience managing data, dashboards, and computer‑based systems to extract, analyze, and interpret trends and effectively communicate insights
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate with other team members
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced and multifaceted environment, with flexibility to work weekday off‑hours
- Experience with disciplined execution, data‑driven work, or process adherence in manufacturing, laboratory, cleanroom, or other high‑reliability environments
- Experience with process monitoring, data interpretation, and Statistical Process Control concepts
- Semiconductor FAB experience
