Pay - $105,000 - $158,125 annually (Depending on years of experience, tenure, software proficiency, and relevant project experience)
Location - Boise, (Onsite)
Schedule - Monday through Friday, salaried position with an expectation of approximately 50 hours per week. Additional Saturday hours are paid at time and a half.
Responsibilities
- Lead and own project estimates, scoping, proposals, safety, and execution while meeting profitability goals
- Manage personnel, financials, schedules, and project risks and opportunities
- Oversee mechanical construction activities with a strong focus on plumbing scope
- Communicate with engineering teams to ensure complete designs and clearly defined scope within budget
- Collaborate with fabrication and manufacturing teams and attend coordination meetings
- Mentor and support Project Engineers and Project Coordinators
- Estimate and negotiate change orders
- Track, forecast, and report labor hours and material costs
- Buy out major equipment and subcontracts and track deliveries
- Maintain working knowledge of project contracts and specifications
- Plan, organize, and schedule project work with field leadership
- Prepare fabrication shop work packages
- Ensure full compliance with safety programs and contractual requirements
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Communicate proactively and professionally with all project stakeholders
Qualification Requirements
- 1+ year of experience as a Mechanical Project Manager or 5+ years of experience as a Mechanical Project Engineer
- Strong understanding of RFI processes, submittals, and change orders
- High technical competency in plumbing scope
- Ability to read and interpret drawings for complex plumbing systems
- In-depth understanding of mechanical installation sequencing
- Proven experience managing and coaching project engineers
- Experience with estimation, construction management, and bidding
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Autodesk Construction Cloud or similar platforms, Smartsheet, and Microsoft Office tools
Disqualifiers
- Limited experience with mechanical or plumbing construction scopes
- No experience with estimation or change order management
- Inability to work onsite in Boise, Idaho

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $105000.00 - $158125.00/hr.
