Senior Electrical Engineer
EVstudio is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Colorado team. You’ll be responsible for leading electrical design on projects, ensuring technical excellence, and providing guidance to junior staff through mentorship and collaboration. As a senior member of the team, you’ll work closely with our architecture, civil, MEP, and structural groups to deliver integrated solutions across a variety of project types.
This position focuses on hands‑on engineering and project execution, but also offers the opportunity to shape best practices, support team development, and contribute to the continued success of our Denver office.
- Lead MEP design and project management for commercial, residential, municipal, multi‑family, and mixed‑use projects
- Serve as the technical lead on MEP systems designs
- Oversee and review calculations, drawings, and construction documents
- Mentor and supervise EITs and junior engineers
- Coordinate with architects and other in‑house disciplines for integrated project delivery
- Contribute to QA/QC processes and the development of internal design standards
- Bachelor’s in Electrical or Architectural Engineering
- PE license required (Colorado or ability to obtain quickly)
- Typically, 6+ years of experience in MEP engineering, with a strong design portfolio
- Proficiency in MEP design software, primarily Revit
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Commitment to quality design, team mentorship, and client satisfaction
We are targeting a base salary of $110,000 to $140,000, but this is determined by several factors, including education, experience, and a history of working in the Denver metro area.
