We are currently looking for a team focused and dedicated Entry Level Structural Engineer in one of our Pacific Northwest offices (Corvallis, OR, Boise, , Bellevue, WA). As a member of our team, you will actively be working with our network of structural engineers responsible for conventional design and design/build projects for water and wastewater clients. You will perform progressively complex structural calculations and analyses as design develop, while working with designers to communicate requirements through drawings and models.
You will build a strong foundation in structural engineering fundamentals, including the analysis and design of vertical and lateral systems in compliance with applicable codes and standards, and understand how structural design integrates with other disciplines. Under the supervision of experienced engineers, you will also evaluate structures and prepare plans, calculations, and cost estimates for a range of projects.

ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include analysis, design, technical writing, construction drawing markup/detailing, and specification development. Under supervision of experienced engineers, you will evaluate structures and prepare plans, calculations, and cost estimates for a range of projects.
What you’ll need- Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in structural engineering
- Engineer in Training (EIT) or Engineering Intern (EI) licensure and desire to be on track to obtain Professional Engineer (PE) and Structural Engineer (SE) licensure
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and organizational skills
- Strong communication (written and verbal), problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, One Note, Teams)
- U.S. Citizenship
- Must live within commutable distance from one of the offices listed
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Experience with structural design and basic structural systems in steel, concrete, and masonry
- Experience with commercial Structural Engineering software such as RAM, STAAD, SAP
2000, or similar general purpose finite element analysis and design software - Familiarity with industry drafting software such as AutoCAD or Revit
