Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain customer relationships with all relevant individuals in the district at all levels; perform regular customer visits.
- Manage, coach, and direct all customer engineers in the district; responsible for salary planning, career planning, corrective actions, establishing objectives and performance appraisals; provide formal updates to all employees.
- Initiate reports necessary for the business; serve as the prime interface with Product Divisions: tech support, training, spares, reliability.
- Monitor the CSD Award Program and the “mentor” program to ensure new engineers have defined mentors.
- Execute escalation procedures.
- Responsible for account planning with District Sales Engineer; provide support plan for system sales to CSD Management, Sales, and Field Engineering; maintain financial forecast for the district; focus on cost efficiency and financial results.
- Responsible for system installation: planning, reporting, and execution; pre‑facility meetings; start‑up meetings; process support identification.
- Manage RMA procedure; measure engineers' effectiveness; manage accuracy of Customer Engineer hours tracking; perform corrective action with customer engineers.
- Analytical skills to review relevant factors for issue analysis.
- Receives assignments as objectives; recommends policy changes; management reviews work for objective achievement.
- Provides direction to employees per policies and management guidance; administers company policies affecting subordinates.
- Exercises judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action.
- Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve results will cause project schedule delays.
- Ability to gain cooperation of others; conduct presentations of technical information concerning specific projects or schedules.
