Overview

An industry-leading electrical contractor is currently seeking an estimator to support a cutting-edge data center project in Boise, Idaho. This position will play a key role in the preconstruction process, from bid preparation through project award, working closely with project management and engineering teams to deliver accurate and competitive estimates.

• Preparing detailed electrical estimates, budgets, and bid proposals
• Reviewing drawings, specifications, and scope documents
• Performing quantity takeoffs for labor, materials, and equipment
• Coordinating with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors
• Evaluating subcontractor and supplier pricing
• Identifying risks, contingencies, and value engineering opportunities
• Supporting cost forecasting and project handoff after award

• Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• 3+ years of relevant electrical estimating experience
• Experience with large commercial, industrial, or data center projects preferred
• Valid driver s license
