Data Science Manager

Job Responsibilities- Create innovative data solutions using Industrial Engineering knowledge to continually improve strategic forecast.
- Evaluate what if scenarios representing changes to metrics and partner with engineering to understand the impact of the changes.
- Design experiments to identify root causes of issues and determine necessary area changes.
- Analyze and interpret internal and external data sources to suggest planning changes.
- Develop methods for testing, tracking, and measuring data, driving action through effective data and clear communication.
- Complete required safety training and work in accordance with Micron and Technology & Products Group safety policies.
- Partner closely with stakeholders to build enhanced budget analytics (TPG Operations, budget teams, Process and Equipment Development, Finance and Procurement teams).
- Provide regular status updates to TPG Leadership and present budgets P2P and outputs.
- Recommend innovative ways to improve data analytics and front-end summaries to aid decision making.
- Design and coordinate projects with several departments, create timelines with milestones for complex tasks and projects, minimize duplication through effective planning, and adjust plans based on execution.
May telecommute part-time.
Qualifications- Database management methods and techniques.
- Data-related tools or data science, including SQL and Python.
- Visualization tools, including Tableau.
- Data collection, warehousing systems, and data cleansing.
- Process improvement and project management skills to collaborate and share data with engineering and executives.
Employer will accept a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Analytics, Electrical Engineering or related field, followed by five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
