Process Engineer, Chemical Engineer
Responsibilities
Identify, diagnose and resolve assembly process related problems. Coordinate and execute process, equipment and material evaluation/optimization initiatives and implement changes at process step. Lead or participate in continuous yield improvement and cost reduction activities. Validate and fan out new process baseline qualification, including new processes, tools and/or materials for new product introduction. Support SPC/FDC/RMS/APC and site-to-site portability. Manage and audit material suppliers to achieve quality, cost and risk management objectives.
Support internal and external audits.
Travel: 10% domestic and international travel is required.
Qualifications- Master’s degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics or related field.
- Master complex datasets and form conclusions from data sets to improve and optimize semiconductor processing.
- Design experiments to extract meaningful data for process development.
- Knowledge of complex hardware used in semiconductor processing, including sequence of processing and change material profile on a wafer.
- Understand hardware parameters and chemical properties.
- Experience working with equipment and chemistry suppliers, identifying gaps/goals and driving them to achieve results.
