Responsibilities- Identify, diagnose and resolve assembly process related problems.
- Coordinate and execute process, equipment and material evaluation/optimization initiatives and implement changes at process step.
- Lead/participate in continuous yield improvement and cost reduction activities.
- Validate and fan out new process baseline qualified, including new process, tools and/or materials for new product introduction.
- Support SPC/FDC/RMS/APC and site‑to‑site portability.
- Manage/audit material suppliers to achieve quality, cost and risk management objectives.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Minimum 10% domestic and international travel required.
- Degree:
Master’s degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics or related field. - Complex datasets and forming conclusions from data sets to improve and optimize semiconductor processing.
- Design of experiments to extract meaningful data for process development.
- Complex hardware used in semiconductor processing, including sequence of processing and change material profile on a wafer.
- HW parameters and chemical properties.
- Working with equipment and chemistry suppliers, highlighting gaps/goals and driving them to achieve results.
