Position Overview Provide project management support for Project Managers through effective communication, negotiation, scheduling, tracking, document control, and forecasting of costs and profitability. Support and collaborate with company superintendents, foreman, engineers, detailers, and management to deliver quality and profitable projects.
Key Responsibilities Track, forecast, report labor hours and material costs.Assist in the buyout/procurement process of major equipment and subcontracts.Expedite and track deliveries of major equipment/materials.Maintain working knowledge of general conditions, work scope and specifications of project contract/subcontract.Maintain and control documents in compliance with UMC Standards as well as contractual compliance.Collaborate with field labor supervision to plan, organize and schedule project work including preparation of subcontract/contract integrated project schedule.Review contract drawings, detail drawings and specifications.Prepare fabrication shop work package including detail drawing review, material take off and buyout, and man-hour fabrication budget.Ensure full compliance with UMC Safety Program at the jobsite.Regular attendance and promptness.Proficiency with MS Outlook, Excel, Word, Bluebeam, Smartsheet, One Drive, MS Teams, SharePoint, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Viewpoint Vista, Revit, Stratus (on the job training will be provided for many of these programs).Develop an understanding of construction sequencing, especially as it is related to mechanical and plumbing scopes of work.Secondary Responsibilities
Maintain client, vendor, subcontractor, and internal team relations.Develop and retain mechanical systems knowledge including engineering, estimating, construction practices, and financial management.Position Requirements Required

Education and Experience Degree in Construction Management, Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical Engineering desired, or previous construction experience.1‑3 years of related experience.Required Licensing and Other Certifications
