Senior Dry Etch Equipment Engineer

As a Senior Dry Etch Equipment Engineer, you will focus on safety and quality while improving manufacturing processes through installation, maintenance, optimization, and development of dry etch equipment. Your expertise supports high‑quality semiconductor production and collaborative problem solving across cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities
  • Installation and qualification of cutting‑edge dry etch equipment in new cleanroom.
  • Dry etch equipment performance: data analysis, preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and documentation.
  • Collaboration with process engineers to identify and resolve equipment‑related production issues.
  • Project management to complete milestones that close hardware gaps around equipment deficiencies.
  • Vendor relations to maintain supplier engagement and drive best‑in‑class equipment metrics.
  • Development and implementation of Total Productive Maintenance strategies.
Minimum

Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years industry experience as equipment owner with dry etch equipment.
  • BS or Masters in engineering, or AAS with 5+ years industry experience, or equivalent military experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes and equipment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a detail‑oriented approach.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in data science and programming skills.
