Seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design and execution of electrical systems for semiconductor facilities, clean rooms, laboratories, mission-critical environments, and advanced industrial projects. The role requires technical leadership, client interaction, design oversight, and construction support.
Responsibilities- Lead electrical engineering and design for facility power distribution, grounding, lighting, and low-voltage communication systems
- Develop construction drawings, technical specifications, and bid packages
- Perform load flow, voltage drop, arc flash, and short-circuit studies
- Review electrical equipment selections, vendor submittals, and design packages
- Supervise and mentor designers and junior engineers
- Serve as Electrical Discipline Lead and quality reviewer
- Coordinate with owners, contractors, architects, structural, and mechanical teams
- Support construction activities, field inspections, and punch walks
- Participate in proposal development and client presentations
- Provide solutions for complex engineering challenges in fast‑paced project environments
- BS in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy Engineering
- Active PE License with ability to obtain Idaho PE
- 12+ years of electrical design experience for building systems
- Strong knowledge of NEC (NFPA 70)
- Experience with power distribution systems and electrical calculations
- Experience reviewing equipment submittals and coordinating construction activities
- Ability to work onsite in Boise,
- Semiconductor, mission-critical, or data center experience
- Revit/BIM experience
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Experience working in multidisciplinary engineering environments
