You will work across Manufacturing, R&D, and Supply Chain to turn complex data into clear decisions that enable high volume production. If you enjoy solving real problems that directly build factory performance, this team delivers! As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer specializing in production readiness, you will help prepare Micron's new high volume memory manufacturing facility in Boise, Idaho for full operation.
This role blends technical depth, business impact, and transparency, offering an outstanding opportunity to influence how the site is prepared, ramped, and operated.
Responsibilities- Drive equipment availability and utilization to maximize fab capacity.
- Model capacity impacts of new tools, process changes, and roadmap decisions.
- Develop and automate planning models using Python, SQL, R, Excel, or VBA.
- Build and maintain site capacity and utilization models to optimize deployed capital.
- Effectively communicate and influence recommendations and improvement proposals through dashboards and executive presentations.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, Finance, Economics, or a quantitative field considered.
- More than 2+ years of experience modeling front-end semiconductor manufacturing capacity, with exposure to semiconductor process engineering.
- Experience analyzing data, forming recommendations, and presenting results clearly using Python and SQL.
- Ability to work independently across Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams.
- 5+ years of experience modeling front-end semiconductor manufacturing capacity.
- Experience influencing independently with strong organization and execution discipline.
- Proficiency communicating insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated success building cross-functional partnerships.
