Overview/SummaryWe're seeking an Intermediate/Associate Process Chemical Engineer in Boise, support the design and installation of process systems for advanced manufacturing facilities. In this role, you'll work closely with clients, equipment owners, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop construction documents and utility designs supporting complex manufacturing tools, tenant improvements, and facility infrastructure upgrades.
Responsibilities include designing process chemical, process mechanical, wet and dry piping, gas, water, and wastewater systems; performing engineering calculations; sizing and specifying equipment and components; and supporting the integration of new tools into existing facilities. You will help develop utility requirement documents, coordinate with stakeholders and equipment manufacturers, and support projects through construction by assisting with RFIs, submittals, and field coordination.

Primary Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from ABET Accredited University
• At least 3 years of practical application of chemical/mechanical facilities engineering, including ultrapure water, chemical distribution, gas distribution, process piping, exhaust, plumbing, waste drains, pumps, tank storage/design and related chemical/mechanical facilities systems
• At least 3 years of design project delivery processes experience
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and leadership experience
• At least 2 years of experience working with complex semiconductor manufacturing tools, either their manufacture, installation, or use in clean rooms
• Proficient working knowledge of AutoCAD software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Forward-thinking, eager to learn best practices and contribute with innovative ideas
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base
• Passion for buildings and construction
• 3 years field experience
• EIT or PE license
