Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily walk-throughs of the fab to inspect electrical infrastructure, including switch gear, UPS systems, transformers, and distribution panels.
  • Execute and manage comprehensive QA/QC checklists. Ensure all As-Built drawings and specifications accurately reflect site conditions.
  • Act as a neutral, professional representative for Praetorian, interface with electrical contractors to identify deficiencies (Punch Lists) and verify their resolution.
  • Witness and validate Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT). Coordinate with Commissioning (Cx) teams to ensure seamless handoff.
  • Ensure all work complies with NEC, NFPA 70E, and specific semiconductor facility standards (e.g., SEMI guidelines).
  • Generate detailed daily and weekly quality reports for stakeholders, highlighting risks, delays, or non-conforming work.
Required Qualifications
  • 3–7 years of experience in Electrical QA/QC, Commissioning (Cx), or as a Project Engineer/Superintendent for a large-scale electrical contractor.
  • Strong understanding of high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems. Ability to read one-line diagrams, schematics, and P&IDs.
  • Prior experience working in a Semiconductor Fab, Data Center, or similar cleanroom/industrial environment is highly preferred.
  • Must be assertive yet professional; representing Praetorian’s reputation and holding contractors accountable to high standards.
  • Journeyman or Master Electrician license, NETA certification, or an Engineering degree (BSEE) is a significant plus.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to spend 80-90% of the day on your feet within a construction/manufacturing environment.
  • Comfortable wearing PPE and Cleanroom “Bunny Suits” as required by facility protocols.
