Role Overview

Senior Piping Design Technician – At Jacobs, you will be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of routine engineering tasks, recognize and communicate scope and design changes promptly, review vendor drawings, execute piping engineering design, develop design estimates, and mentor junior professionals. • Manage schedule and technical quality of assigned routine engineering tasks.
• Recognize and communicate scope and design changes promptly.
• Review vendor drawings and verify compliance.
• Execute piping engineering design using 2D/3D modeling software.
• Develop design estimates for projects.
• Mentor junior staff and support team collaboration.

• Associate’s degree (AA) in Computer Aided Drafting and Design or a similar technical degree.
• At least 8 years of piping design experience.
• Advanced working knowledge of 2D/3D modeling software such as AutoCAD, CADWorx, and/or Revit.
• Experience with Navisworks and Microsoft products (Outlook, Excel, etc.).
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Electronics industry experience (semiconductor) – preferred.
• Forward thinking, eagerness to learn best practices, and ability to contribute innovative ideas.
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.

Base salary range $86,600.00 to $, paid hourly based on hours worked with individual pay determined by location and qualifications.
