Senior PVD/CVD (Physical Vapor Deposition and/or Chemical Vapor Deposition) Equipment Engineer

You will play a meaningful role in improving our manufacturing processes by focusing on the installation, maintenance, optimization, and development of our PVD/CVD equipment. Your expertise will support the production of high-quality semiconductor components. You will work closely with multi‑functional teams to tackle equipment issues and implement solutions that improve efficiency and yield.

Responsibilities
  • Installation and qualification of industry‑leading PVD/CVD equipment in our new cleanroom
  • Manage PVD/CVD equipment performance, including data analysis, preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and documentation
  • Collaborate with process engineers to identify and resolve equipment‑related issues affecting production
  • Use project management methodology to complete projects that close hardware gaps around equipment deficiencies
  • Establish productive vendor relations to maintain supplier engagement and drive benchmark equipment performance
  • Develop and implement Total Productive Maintenance strategies
Minimum

Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of industry experience working as Equipment Owner with PCVD equipment
  • BS or Masters in Engineering, equivalent military experience, or AAS with 5+ years industry experience
  • Hands‑on experience with preventative and corrective maintenance in a semiconductor fab
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes and equipment
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a detail‑oriented approach
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Proficient in Data Science and Programming skills
  • Experience and/or interest in developing Agentic AI workflows into current or future processes

This is an onsite role, located in beautiful Boise, Idaho.
