Senior PVD/CVD (Physical Vapor Deposition and/or Chemical Vapor Deposition) Equipment Engineer
You will play a meaningful role in improving our manufacturing processes by focusing on the installation, maintenance, optimization, and development of our PVD/CVD equipment. Your expertise will support the production of high-quality semiconductor components. You will work closely with multi‑functional teams to tackle equipment issues and implement solutions that improve efficiency and yield.
Responsibilities- Installation and qualification of industry‑leading PVD/CVD equipment in our new cleanroom
- Manage PVD/CVD equipment performance, including data analysis, preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and documentation
- Collaborate with process engineers to identify and resolve equipment‑related issues affecting production
- Use project management methodology to complete projects that close hardware gaps around equipment deficiencies
- Establish productive vendor relations to maintain supplier engagement and drive benchmark equipment performance
- Develop and implement Total Productive Maintenance strategies
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of industry experience working as Equipment Owner with PCVD equipment
- BS or Masters in Engineering, equivalent military experience, or AAS with 5+ years industry experience
- Hands‑on experience with preventative and corrective maintenance in a semiconductor fab
- Strong understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes and equipment
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a detail‑oriented approach
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficient in Data Science and Programming skills
- Experience and/or interest in developing Agentic AI workflows into current or future processes
This is an onsite role, located in beautiful Boise, Idaho.
