Job Overview

As a Sr. Engineer in photo process development, you will be a part of a ground‑breaking sophisticated DRAM research & development photolithography team. The position offers ample opportunities for innovation, collaboration and testing new technology for next generation DRAM devices.

You will work directly with process integration and other process areas such as Wet etch, CVD, Diffusion, Metals, Dry Etch & CMP. You will work on innovative lithography scanners & own the process roadmap to meet program and yield goals.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a particular module within next generation storage device; develop new, manufacturing‑friendly photolithography processes that enable the physical and electrical architecture with lithography technology, including 365, 248, and 193 immersion lithography.
  • Engage with equipment/material vendors on new solutions to overcome process challenges.
  • Innovate new design, layout, and photolithography techniques to open a solution space for future generations of memory devices.
  • Review literature to identify potential intellectual property opportunities and file disclosures.
  • Use data analysis, and/or machine learning to identify root causes by correlating device failure with process conditions (e.g., critical dimension, registration, cross section).
  • Document and communicate plans, status, and results of projects in written reports and presentations.
  • Work well in a highly collaborative environment and independently with a strong sense of ownership.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience in photolithography, electron beam lithography, nano‑imprint lithography, photonics, or optics.
  • Ability to resolve complex issues through root‑cause or model‑based problem solving.
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation).
  • Required

    Education:

    PhD or MS in Physics, Optics, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Materials Science, Photonics, Chemistry, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong skills in research and development and ability to build manufacturing‑friendly technologies.
  • Data science and programming experience or coursework is strongly preferred.
  • Coursework or experience in photolithography and semiconductor manufacturing preferred.
  • Experience with photolithography simulation software is a plus.
  • Understanding of material properties and characterization techniques of lithography.
