RAM RDA Process Engineer HVM

As a Realtime Defect Analysis (RDA) HVM Process Engineer at Micron, you will learn how to use state‑of‑the‑art defect detection equipment and processes to troubleshoot and solve inline defect and process issues.

• Review and analyze process flows looking for defect anomalies and quarantine process tools that are out of control.
• Apply a continuous improvement process (CIP) ethos, looking for ways to improve operations.
• Recognize, identify, and raise awareness of process anomalies.
• Use inline process signals to drive process improvements.
• Work with new inspection tools and strategies to earlier detect problems and identify sources.
• Build and improve techniques and identify new ways to use existing tools to uncover relevant process issues.
• Participate actively in technical meetings, synthesize new opportunities or novel approaches.
• Collaborate with the global network to develop best known methods and maintain alignment between sites.
• Support experimentation, data analysis, baseline health metrics, and systematic and random defect improvement through partnering with HVM global manufacturing.

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, or a related field.

• Basic data science and data manipulation skills (scripting, coding, or programming).
• Proactive and passionate about learning via training and coursework.
• Creative problem‑solving and innovative solution orientation.
• Willingness to investigate process anomalies, root‑cause analysis, data manipulation, and correlations.
• Ability to innovate and drive effective change in an energizing environment.
• Demonstrated flexibility and tenacity in pursuit of goals.
• Excellent technical, communication, and analytical skills; strong verbal and written English.
• Experience with metrology/RDA inspection processing.
• Experience utilizing AI‑enabled tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, machine learning, data analytics, or automation platforms) to improve productivity, data analysis, problem solving, and engineering decision making.
