Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence. Part of Micron’s Yield Enhancement organization, this role focuses on identifying yield issues through electrical diagnostics and physical examination of failures. You will analyze data, locate failure mechanisms, and partner with multi‑functional teams to improve device performance and stability.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze probe, parametric, and fab data to identify yield issues.
  • Perform electrical and physical failure analysis to resolve root causes.
  • Collaborate with process and integration teams to resolve yield detractors.
  • Develop and apply techniques to isolate and characterize device failures.
  • Present findings and support technology transfer to manufacturing sites.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, materials science, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in semiconductor yield analysis or failure analysis.
  • Understanding of semiconductor fabrication and device physics.
  • Experience with data analysis, statistics, or coding tools.
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis and communicate findings.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree or equivalent experience, or PhD in engineering, physics, materials science, or related field.
  • Experience with memory devices and architecture.
  • Hands‑on experience with SEM, FIB, TEM, or related analysis tools.
  • Strong analytical and structured problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.
