Title: Process Chem/Mechanical Engineering Owner's Representative
Location: Boise, , Primarily Remote (Onsite for 50% of the first month, then one week onsite per month)
Duration: 12 months
OverviewAs the facilities Process/Mechanical Engineering Owners Representative, you will work on projects that enable the heart of our clients manufacturing in Boise, e closely with client owners in a fast-paced environment to review designs, specifications, and drawings, providing valuable feedback and comments.
Key Responsibilities- Interface with client and site personnel, driving design and construction documents through the review process
- Establish design requirements and produce construction documents for the installation of complex manufacturing tools and facilities infrastructure mechanical systems
- Design and oversee piping for equipment water, wastewater, process chemicals, and gases in complex industrial facilities
- Conduct engineering calculations, equipment and component sizing, selection, and specification
- Support construction and integration into the factory
- Edit client specifications and standards, review design packages consisting of P&IDs, layout drawings, details, and equipment plans
- Review vendor submittals, RFIs, and construction documents
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET Accredited University
- At least 2 years of practical application of chemical/mechanical facilities engineering
- At least 2 years of design project delivery processes experience
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and leadership experience
- At least 1 year of experience with complex semiconductor manufacturing tools
- Proficient working knowledge of AutoCAD software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Forward-thinking, eager to learn best practices and contribute innovative ideas
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and broaden knowledge base
- Passion for buildings and construction
- 1 year field experience
- EIT or PE license
- Position requires field visits and walks at an active client site in various stages of construction
- Must be able to walk long distances, sit and stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, twist, crawl, climb ladders, work on catwalks, work in small spaces, lift and carry up to 25 lbs
- Applicant must complete background check, drug screen, and be fully authorized to work for any client in the United States
