A large, reputable HVAC/construction company is currently hiring for a Mechanical Project Manager to help oversee a large semiconductor project in Boise, must be familiar with mechanical construction and have an understanding of plumbing scope.
As a Mechanical Construction Project Manager, you will lead high-performing teams in design, engineering, project management, and business services. You will oversee the successful execution of major construction projects by managing personnel, financials, risks/opportunities, and schedules through effective relationship building, communication, negotiation, scheduling, tracking, document control, and forecasting. You will mentor Project Engineers and Project Coordinators and develop strong, positive relationships with clients.
Pay - $105k/yr.
- $158k/yr. (Salary, but eligible for Overtime + Per Diem for out-of-state employees)
Location - Boise,
Schedule - 100% On-site (Expectation is 50 hours per week, with overtime pay for Saturday work)
[Summary of
Key Responsibilities ]
* Lead and own estimates, project scoping, proposals, safety, and execution while meeting or exceeding profitability goals.
* Understand mechanical systems costing and value analysis.
* Communicate with engineering staff to ensure complete designs and clear scope within budget.
* Collaborate with manufacturing and fabrication teams; attend coordination meetings.
* Support business development to secure new business and maintain client relations.
* Develop and maintain positive client relationships.
* Estimate and negotiate change orders.
* Track, forecast, and report labor hours and material costs.
* Buy out major equipment and subcontracts; expedite and track deliveries.
* Maintain working knowledge of project contracts and specifications.
* Ensure compliance with standards and contractual requirements.
* Plan, organize, and schedule project work with field labor supervision.
* Prepare fabrication shop work packages.
* Ensure full compliance with safety programs.
* Communicate proactively and professionally with team members.
* Uphold core values and maintain regular attendance and promptness.
[Qualification Requirements]
* Mechanical Project Management experience.
* 5+ years of experience as a Mechanical Project Engineer would also suffice.
* Understanding of RFI, Submittals, and Change Orders.
* Project Budgeting experience.
* High level of technical competency in plumbing scope and ability to read and understand drawings related to complex plumbing systems.
* In-depth understanding of mechanical installation sequencing.
* Proven experience managing and coaching project engineers.
* Comfortable submitting to a drug test upon offer.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $105000.00 - $120000.00/hr.
