We are seeking an ID1 High Volume Manufacturing Shift Equipment Engineer responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and improving semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
Key Duties Include- Supervising tool performance, performing preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting equipment issues using mechanical, electronic, and software skills.
- Assisting with equipment installation, testing, process documentation, and process improvement initiatives.
- Driving equipment uptime, safety, and operational KPIs through root cause analysis, systematic problem solving, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborating with equipment owners and shift teams to resolve yield, defect, and output issues, applying SPC, DOE, and 8D methodologies.
- Updating procedures, ensuring safety protocols, and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or related fields.
- Knowledge of electrical, vacuum, gas flow, and mechanical fundamentals; experience with schematic diagrams.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work in a cleanroom environment.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Python, Java, Tableau, Matlab, and MS Office.
- Flexibility to work and rotate shifts as needed.
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to learn equipment and process details, with a good understanding of fab operations.
