Job Description Join Micron as a Principal CAD Engineer/Manager in Boise, , and play a pivotal role in crafting the future of memory and semiconductor technologies! This outstanding opportunity lets you lead and innovate within a team of highly skilled engineers focused on developing flawless and world-class solutions that advance the industry.## Responsibilities In the role of Principal CAD Engineer/Manager, you will:
* Lead the building and development of advanced CAD tools and methodologies.
* Collaborate with multi-functional teams to successfully implement and integrate CAD solutions.
* Determine and establish CAD build standards and guidelines.
* Mentor and guide engineers, encouraging an inclusive and collaborative environment.
* Benchmark internal capabilities against industry standards to ensure competitive performance.
* Coordinate the maintenance and improvement of existing CAD tools to ensure flawless operation.##

Minimum Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Bachelor's or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
* Proven experience in CAD tool development and management.
* Strong knowledge of semiconductor build and processes.
* Outstanding problem-solving abilities and the capacity to collaborate effectively within a diverse group.
* Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C++.##

Preferred Qualifications We highly value candidates with:
* Experience in managing CAD projects from concept through implementation.
* Experience with commonly used CAD tools and software in the industry.
* A track record of mentoring and developing engineers early in their careers.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts.
