Our client, a mining and infrastructure support company, is seeking a Civil Engineer in Boise, Idaho. This position involves overseeing civil infrastructure planning, design, and construction in active mining environments. The role offers the option to work remotely and may require occasional travel.
- Develop and review designs for roads, foundations, drainage, and earthworks supporting mining operations.
- Provide technical support for tailings and waste rock management systems.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design compliance and safety standards.
- Conduct site inspections to evaluate civil structure performance and identify issues.
- Assist in project planning, cost estimation, and risk assessment activities.
Civil Engineer
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in heavy industrial or mining environments.
- Proficiency with civil design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of earthworks, foundations, drainage, and structural principles.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and construction specifications.
