Section Violin I & II

The Boise Philharmonic Association is seeking musicians for two tenure track Section Violin II positions and two 1-year Section Violin I positions. These roles will commence upon successful completion of the audition process. Each position is per service, with a guarantee of 60 services from September to May, and a pay rate of $131.07 per service. Additionally, qualified musicians may receive travel compensation up to $175 per concert set and potential accommodation with a volunteer during concert cycles.

Contracted musicians are required to fulfill at least 60% of their assigned services, which may include symphonic concerts, contracted performances, educational activities, and family performances. The terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement will dictate the total wages and benefits for each musician, and any negotiated compensation will take precedence over the listed pay rate.

Auditions are scheduled for September 10, 2026, at the Esther Simplot Performing Arts Academy in Boise, Idaho. The Final date to receive applications is August 13, 2026.
