Join Portal Sever and help us build a community around a growing Web3 game.
Portal Sever is a Web3 gaming project combining online gaming, digital ownership, and blockchain-powered experiences.
We are looking for a Social Media & Community Specialist who understands crypto culture, knows how online communities work, and can turn content, conversations, and ideas into real community growth.
This isn‘t a role where you’ll simply schedule posts. You‘ll have the freedom to experiment with content, develop our social presence, interact directly with players and crypto users, launch community activities, and help shape the public voice of Portal Sever.
If you spend time on X/Twitter, Telegram, Discord, Reddit, Web3 communities, gaming communities, or crypto media, we’d love to hear from you.
What you’ll do- Manage and grow Portal Sever’s social media and community channels, primarily X/Twitter, Telegram and Discord, while exploring other relevant platforms.
- Create engaging content around the game, Web3, crypto gaming, product updates, community news, memes, announcements, and industry trends.
- Build genuine relationships with players, community members, creators, influencers, and other Web3 projects.
- Develop ideas and campaigns designed to increase followers, engagement, community activity, and player acquisition.
- Organize community events such as AMAs, contests, giveaways, game activities, collaborations, and community discussions.
- Keep conversations active instead of simply publishing posts and waiting for engagement.
- Identify relevant trends early and turn them into timely content opportunities.
- Monitor community feedback and communicate useful insights to the product and marketing teams.
- Help establish Portal Sever‘s tone of voice and make the brand recognizable across Web
3. - Research competitors, Game Fi projects, gaming communities, and emerging platforms to identify new growth opportunities.
- Experiment with new formats and ideas and analyze what actually works.
- Experience managing social media, online communities, gaming communities, crypto communities, or digital brands.
- Strong understanding of Web3, cryptocurrency, blockchain, Game Fi, or online gaming.
- Good knowledge of X/Twitter, Telegram and Discord and how content performs differently across each platform.
- Ability to communicate naturally in English with an international audience.
- Strong writing skills and the ability to turn an idea or update into engaging social content.
- Understanding of crypto culture, memes, trends, and community behavior.
- Ability to work independently without needing detailed instructions for every task.
- Comfortable communicating directly with users and handling both positive and negative feedback.
- Creative mindset and willingness to test unconventional ideas.
- Reliable, organized, and able to work remotely.
- Experience with any of the following is a strong advantage:
Web3 gaming, Game Fi, NFT communities, gaming projects, influencer outreach, partnerships, community launches, viral content, Reddit, Tik Tok, You Tube, or short-form video. - Previous experience at a crypto exchange, blockchain company, Web3 startup, gaming studio, or crypto media project is welcome but not mandatory.
