PositionVice President, FP&A – responsible for setting the strategic vision and direction for the FP&A organization, collaborating with executive leadership and subject matter authorities worldwide to provide timely and insightful financial analysis and modeling that drives value‑creating business decisions. Reports to Micron’s EVP & CFO and partners with global departments within Finance and key stakeholders across all levels of the organization to help optimize Micron’s financial performance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead financial planning and analysis including annual business plans creation, forecasting, reporting and analysis of revenue for the company, ensuring budgets are collaboratively developed and communicated
- Evaluate company portfolios and develop strategies to maximize enterprise value by helping to set targets and develop the company‑wide capital allocation strategy
- Responsible for development and tracking of company‑wide critical metrics
- Partner with leaders within the Business Unit, Supply Chain and Sales organizations to identify, assess and present strategic initiatives
- Continually drive alignment and control into the spending process
- Serve as the management liaison to the Finance Committee; effectively communicate and present critical financial matters at board of directors and committee meetings
- Handle financial communications with the Executive Team including weekly flash, quarterly performance, annual plan, etc.
- Establish clear return on investment (ROI) metrics for major business expenditures, advising on economic and strategic benefits
- Develop and utilize complex financial models and data‑focused deep‑dive analyses to provide insight into operations and business performance
- Support finance transformation activities
- Build positive relationships across the finance and accounting teams, with functional leaders across the organization and collaborate with internal and external partners to understand the business’s current state and develop data‑driven insights that can be understood and implemented to drive company‑wide goals and strategic directions
- At least 15 years of work experience in Finance, Accounting, or related fields in the high‑volume, complex manufacturing industry (electronics manufacturing, semiconductors or other high‑tech industries preferred)
- At least 10 years of leadership experience, ideally in globally dispersed teams
- Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Additional professional qualifications such as CPA, CFA, CMA preferred
- Ambitious, high energy level, growth mindset and passion for identifying and implementing improvement opportunities
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen
- Proven ability to perform in an environment characterized by volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity
- Strong influencing skills and ability to build strong interpersonal relationships based on mutual trust
- Demonstrated capability to build highly effective and engaged teams
- Excellent written and verbal English‑language communication and presentation skills
US base salary range: $ – $ a year. Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.
