* Lead all finance and accounting functions for the Livestock Division, ensuring accurate, timely, and actionable reporting
* Serve as a strategic partner to the Livestock President and operations, driving profitability and operational efficiency
* Own budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning; align with corporate goals and drive accountability to results
* Analyze performance, identify trends and variances, and translate insights into clear action plans
* Partner with managers to strengthen financial acumen and improve decision-making
* Identify risks and opportunities; lead initiatives to improve margins, control costs, and optimize working capital
* Oversee capital planning and investment analysis, ensuring strong ROI discipline
* Maintain and improve internal controls, financial processes, and reporting tools
* Ensure compliance with corporate policies while driving efficiency and simplification
* Build strong cross-functional relationships and communicate financial performance clearly across all levels
* Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and development within the finance function
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS &
COMPETENCIES:
* Proven ability to lead through influence and build trust across all levels of an organization
* Strategic thinker with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
* High level of accountability, ownership, and attention to detail
* Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial information
* Experience with financial systems, reporting tools, and process improvement initiatives
* Working knowledge of livestock or agricultural operations strongly preferred
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred)
* 7-10+ years of progressive experience in accounting/finance, including leadership responsibility
* Strong financial and business acumen, with the ability to connect results to operational drivers
