Position: Sr. Relationship Manager - Global Commercial Banking/Middle Market (Boise, Idaho)

Responsibilities

  • Manage an extensive portfolio of complex global commercial banking clients with annual revenues of $50 million to $2 billion.
  • Acquire, deepen, and maintain profitable client relationships through sales, prospecting, and enhancement of existing relationships.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact or trusted advisor, collaborating with teammates and facilitating client relationships with Product Specialists.
  • Interpret financial and cash flow statements to assess and analyze financial conditions of companies and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with domestic and international teammates across departments (Investment Banking, Foreign Exchange, Wealth Management, Credit, Treasury Management, Merchant Services) to design and deliver tailored financial solutions.
  • Lead and facilitate dialogues with clients on industry, alternative capital structures, and business issues.
  • Coach and mentor peers, utilizing leadership skills and developing continuity.
  • Adapt to changes in sales practices, market, and industry conditions.
Qualifications & Skills

Education: Undergraduate degree in business, finance or economics preferred; MBA desirable.

Experience: Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Commercial Lending or Investment Banking; proven ability to manage an extensive portfolio and close profitable transactions.

Technical

Skills:

Strong corporate finance, capital markets, accounting acumen; financial modeling; formal credit training; licensing (Securities Industry Essentials, Series7 &63 required within 180 days of start).

Other

Skills:

Client management, relationship building, prospecting, project management, coaching, leadership, sales performance management, continuous improvement, data & trend analysis, referral identification, pipeline management, business development.
