The Sr. Manager of Manufacturing FP&A will lead the financial planning and analysis functions for manufacturing operations and capital investment analysis. This role is integral to driving strategic financial decisions and ensuring the financial health of manufacturing operations. The Sr. Manager will be a highly embedded business partner, frequently participating in meetings with the GVP Manufacturing to provide financial insights and support.
Main responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management: Oversee the FP&A team responsible (~2-5 total employees) for operations analytics and capital IRR/ROI analysis.
- Operations Analytics: Lead the analysis of manufacturing operations to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Capital Analysis: Conduct IRR and ROI analysis for capital investments, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and alignment with strategic goals.
- Business Partnering: Act as the lead business partner to the GVP Manufacturing, participating in strategic meetings and providing financial insights to support decision-making.
- Technological Improvements: Lead initiatives for technological improvements and modernization within the FP&A department, enhancing efficiency and accuracy in financial processes.
- Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, adhering to corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for manufacturing operations.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in FP&A operations.
- Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with senior leadership, plant managers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication.
We are looking for candidates who possess the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in FP&A, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Experience in manufacturing or operations finance is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
