Job DescriptionAs a Community Banking Leader, you will actively pursue business relationships for NBH Bank. Provide a full range of banking services with an emphasis on loan and deposit business products, with a goal of earning 100% of the client’s relationship.
Responsibilities
- Proactively call on clients, prospects, and referral sources to achieve sales and services goals and grow deposit, treasury and business lending business.
- Manage acquisition, expansion, and retention of business banking relationships and lead the banking center’s goals on a quarterly and annual basis.
- Critically review, analyze, and structure business loans and monitor loan portfolio performance, maintaining contact with borrowers to resolve problems.
- Participate in community and business functions to promote the bank’s image and build referral contacts.
- Identify market trends impacting clients and utilize solutions to partner opportunities.
- Create, train, and coach a successful sales team to serve clients’ total financial needs, increasing market share, wallet share, and profitability.
- Manage relationships with business partner entities to ensure cross‑sales and maintain high service quality and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent education and work experience.
- 3+ years of successful commercial or small business lending experience.
- 5+ years of banking experience.
- 5+ years of successful B2B development experience.
Desired Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of successful commercial or small business lending.
- Minimum of 5 years of banking experience.
- Completion of a bank training or formal credit‑training program.
