Job Description & How to Apply Below

Build Relationships. Grow Business. Make Your Mark.

Are you ready to take the next step in your banking career and turn strong relationships into lasting business? We’re looking for a Jr. Relationship Manager who is hungry to learn, confident working with clients, and excited to become a trusted financial partner to businesses and professionals throughout the market.

This is an opportunity for a relationship-driven banking professional to join a team where your ideas matter, your development is taken seriously, and your ability to connect with clients can directly influence the growth of the organization. You’ll work alongside experienced Relationship Managers and banking leaders while gaining valuable exposure to commercial lending, credit, deposits, treasury management, and business development.

This isn’t a role where you simply sit behind a desk and process paperwork. You’ll be encouraged to get out into the market, meet clients, understand their businesses, uncover opportunities, and build relationships that last.

What You’ll Do
  • Support senior Relationship Managers in managing and expanding a portfolio of commercial and business banking relationships.
  • Develop a deep understanding of clients’ businesses, financial goals, industries, and long-term objectives.
  • Assist with the development of new business through networking, referrals, community involvement, and proactive outreach.
  • Identify opportunities to deepen existing relationships through commercial loans, lines of credit, deposits, treasury management, and other financial solutions.
  • Participate in client meetings and gradually take ownership of relationships as your knowledge and confidence grow.
  • Assist with loan structuring, underwriting, financial analysis, credit presentations, and loan documentation.
  • Analyze financial statements, cash flow, credit history, collateral, and other relevant information to help evaluate lending opportunities.
  • Partner with Credit, Treasury Management, Operations, and other internal teams to deliver a seamless client experience.
  • Monitor existing relationships and assist with portfolio management, covenant tracking, renewals, and annual reviews.
  • Maintain accurate client records and ensure all activities follow established credit, compliance, regulatory, and risk-management standards.
  • Stay informed on market conditions, economic trends, industry developments, and competitive activity.
  • Represent the bank professionally throughout the Boise business community.
  • Build a reputation as someone clients can call when they need thoughtful financial guidance, not simply another banking transaction.
What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone with commercial banking experience and genuine relationship-building instincts
. You may be earlier in your Relationship Management career, but you should already understand the fundamentals of business banking, credit, and financial analysis.

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • 2+ years of banking, commercial lending, credit analysis, or related financial services experience.
  • Strong understanding of commercial banking products and services.
  • Experience analyzing financial statements and assessing credit risk.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • A natural ability to build trust and establish credibility with clients.
  • Strong business development instincts and a willingness to prospect and network.
  • Sound judgment, attention to detail, and financial acumen.
  • The ability to balance relationship development with responsible risk management.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • A professional, energetic, and collaborative approach.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, or a related field preferred.
Why This Opportunity?

Because this role is designed for someone who wants to grow into a true Relationship Manager
, not simply maintain the status quo.

You’ll have the opportunity to learn from seasoned banking professionals, expand your commercial banking expertise, develop your own network, and become increasingly responsible for client relationships and revenue growth.

You’ll also have the chance to build your career in Boise
, a dynamic and rapidly growing business market where strong banking relationships can make a real difference. If you’re ambitious, personable, financially savvy, and ready to take your career from supporting relationships to owning them
, this could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.
