Chief Financial Officer | High-Growth, PE-Backed Insurance Platform

We’re partnering with a fast-growing insurance distribution platform backed by a leading private equity firm to identify a strategic and operationally-minded CFO. This is a rare opportunity to join a high-velocity, acquisitive business at a pivotal inflection point.

The CFO will serve as a key member of the executive team, partnering closely with the CEO and board to scale infrastructure, optimize performance, and support continued growth through M&A.

What You’ll Do

-Lead and mature the finance function, including accounting, FP&A, reporting, and systems

-Own budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and board-level reporting

-Support M&A activity in partnership with a dedicated Head of Corporate Development

-Drive the implementation of the new ERP system

-Build and mentor a high-performing team (initial focus on hiring a controller)

-Serve as a player/coach during this period of transformation and scale

-Establish controls, reporting processes, and financial discipline in a lean, fast-moving environment

Ideal Background

-Multi-time CFO or VP/SVP Finance with experience in PE-backed businesses

-Strong accounting foundation - ideally has been a controller or directly managed one

-Track record of leading finance transformations (ERP implementation, process buildout, etc.)

-Comfortable in hands-on, high-growth environments with evolving systems

-Strategic thinker who can partner with leadership and roll up sleeves as needed

-Exposure to M&A, due diligence, and integration, especially in roll-up or platform settings

-Industry experience in insurance or distribution is a plus, but not required
