Tax Accountant, Accounting & Finance
Are you the kind of person who believes we are overtaxed as a country and wants to do something about it. Helping small businesses use the code to keep more of their money instead of just mindlessly filling out paperwork to hand more of it over to uncle Sam to waste.
Do you enjoy learning how tax returns actually work, not just entering numbers but understanding the why behind them, and steadily improving your skills with each return you touch?
Do you notice details others miss, ask thoughtful questions, and take pride in doing work carefully and correctly?
Do you take initiative and are self-directed?
Anderson.
Tax is looking for a Junior Tax Preparer who is eager to grow, contribute to a high-standard tax team, and build real experience in thoughtful, ethical tax preparation. This role is designed for someone early in their tax career who wants more than seasonal work, is excited to learn through hands-on experience, guidance, and feedback, and is a detail-driven, proactive problem-solver.
You’ll work closely with senior tax professionals and firm leadership to prepare individual and business returns, review client documents thoroughly, and assist with tax planning and strategy work. While you won’t be expected to know everything on day one, you will be expected to slow down, pay attention to details, ask questions, and continually improve the quality of your work.
This is NOT a remote position.
