Description:

  • Advise on government contracting strategy and market-entry decisions.
  • Evaluate opportunities and support capture, bid/no-bid, and proposal strategy.
  • Review selected opportunities, contracts, and strategic decisions.
  • Advise on capabilities needed to pursue and execute larger government contracts.
  • Guide decisions on priming, subcontracting, teaming, and contract vehicles.
  • Identify government procurement, compliance, and post-award execution risks.
  • Help develop agency relationships and assess opportunities for introductions.
  • Challenge assumptions and provide practical guidance based on prior execution experience.
  • Support substantial capture, proposal, contract strategy, or client work through separately scoped paid engagements.
Requirements:
  • Significant experience in federal, state, or large municipal government contracting.
  • Experience with capture strategy, opportunity qualification, and bid/no-bid decisions.
  • Knowledge of RFP, RFQ, RFI, FAR/DFARS, and government procurement processes.
  • Experience with IDIQs, BPAs, GWACs, GSA Schedules, or similar contract vehicles.
  • Experience developing proposal strategies and competitive positioning.
  • Knowledge of prime/subcontractor and teaming strategies.
  • Experience with agency relationship development and contract compliance.
  • Experience in professional services, research, analytics, workforce, infrastructure, technology, or consulting contracts.
  • Background as a government contracting executive, procurement leader, capture executive, government practice leader, or senior operator at an established federal contractor preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience building, winning, managing, or scaling government contracting work.
