Overview
We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, and patient-focused Optician to join our private practice eye care team at Eyecare Associates of Boise. This role is responsible for supporting patients through the eyewear selection process, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring accurate eyewear measurements, orders, and adjustments. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable in optical products, comfortable educating patients, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-centered environment, although we are willing to train the right candidate.
As an Optician, you will play a key role in creating a positive patient experience by helping patients choose frames and lenses that meet their visual needs, lifestyle, and budget—while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and compassion.
- Support patients through the eyewear selection process and provide exceptional customer service
- Ensure accurate eyewear measurements, orders, and adjustments
- Educate patients on optical products and frame/lens options
- Maintain accuracy, professionalism, and a patient-focused approach in a fast-paced, team-centered environment
- Knowledge of optical products and eyewear fitting procedures
- Comfortable educating patients and explaining options

Hours:
Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5:30pm and Friday 8am-3:30pm
