Retail Pharmacy Technician – Boise, Meridian, Nampa
What You Can Expect- Location:
Boise, Meridian, Nampa Medical Centers - Hours:
Full-time, part-time, and flex hours available - Schedules for our pharmacies can be variable, 8 or 10-hour shifts, including Saturday and/or Sunday rotations;
Monday–Friday days; or nights - Receive shift differential pay; certification pay for PTCB Advanced Certification; preceptor pay
- Work in a variety of dynamic environments with other interdepartmental disciplines
- Enjoy the hustle of fast-paced environments
- Learn and expand your pharmacy skills with opportunities to advance into leadership and pharmacy business positions
- Retail Pharmacy Technicians prepare and deliver our patients' medications, submit insurance claims, input prescription data, coordinate med-syncing, and assist our patients in person and over the phone
- Medication Locker Technicians prepare and deliver medications to medication lockers located in St. Luke’s facilities and throughout the community and communicate with patients when prescriptions are ready for pick up at their convenience
- Meds-to-Beds Technicians fill take-home medications for our pharmacists to deliver bedside to our patients prior to discharge, which helps with medication adherence and eliminates the need for a stop on their way home
- Micro Pharmacy Behavioral Health Retail Technician supports patients accessing and managing prescription fills. This technician coordinates with clinic providers, patients, and pharmacy systems to ensure seamless medication and community support
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Idaho pharmacy technician License
- One (1) or more years' experience
- CPhT
