Shift: Day Shift
What You’ll Do- Prepare the surgical environment and ensure all instruments, equipment, and supplies are available and functioning.
- Support physicians and surgical staff by anticipating needs throughout the procedure.
- Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique and safety standards.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with the surgical team and supervisory staff.
- Contribute to a smooth workflow by organizing supplies, assisting with room turnover, and ensuring all equipment is properly maintained.
- Demonstrate the Saint Alphonsus Mission, Vision, and Values through every interaction.
- Current certification as a:
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) through NBSTSA OR
- Tech in Surgery–Certified (TS‑C) through NCCT
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through AHA, ARC, or Military Training Network
- Strong attention to detail, solid knowledge of aseptic technique, and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- One year of scrub experience in an acute care hospital setting
- Experience in outpatient or same‑day surgery environments
- A passion for patient‑centered care and continuous improvement
