Patient Registration Specialist PRN Float Pool – Boise,

Join Saint Alphonsus Health System as a PRN Patient Registration Specialist. You will support patient access across the Boise Float Pool, verify identification, enter demographic and insurance data, and estimate out‑of‑pocket costs.

• Verify patient identification, demographic information, and insurance coverage.
• Enter patient information accurately into the EPIC hospital information system.
• Refer patients with questions regarding financial liability to appropriate resources.
• Provide payment estimates for out‑of‑pocket costs.
• Accept point‑of‑service payments and handle medical authorization or referral forms.
• Process insurance claim forms and maintain claim files.
• Escalate routine payer or provider issues to the appropriate supervisor.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient data.

• Associate degree in Accounting or Business Administration preferred.
• Prior customer‑service experience in a hospital, clinic, insurance, or managed‑care setting.
• Knowledge of insurance and governmental programs, regulations, and billing processes.
• Strong communication skills and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.

Part‑time PRN. Rotating schedule. Expected to work at least 3 shifts per month, across days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
