Respiratory Therapist (RT) ⚠️ Start Date Requirement:
Must start by 03/23 or 03/30 ⚠️ 50-mile radius rule – Must provide permanent address in submission to verify eligibility Shift & Schedule 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM Scheduler creates assignments based on staffing needs Block scheduling not guaranteed (may be accommodated when possible) Overtime may be available Weekend Requirement:
Every other weekend Holiday Requirement:
Required if scheduled during holiday Call:
None Patient Coverage Adult floors Pediatrics NICU Pediatric RTs may cover adult patients Adult RTs will not cover pediatrics Experience Requirements RRT preferred Will accept CRT with 3–5 years experience 2–3 years RT experience required (RRT) First-time travelers accepted NICU
Experience:
Must know NAVA (Neurally Adjusted Ventilatory Assist) on Cervo vents if covering NICU Job Duties Manage RT equipment and therapies Patient transport ABG management Assist with intubation (not independent intubation) No EKG responsibilities Certifications Required Adult Units: BLS ACLS Pediatric Units: BLS PALS NICU Units: BLS NRP Equipment Draeger Ventilators (Adults) Servo U Ventilators (Peds) V60 BiPAP Vapotherm / Optiflow Philips Cough Assist Res Med CPAP Hill-Rom Vest & Metaneb Support Structure Hospitalist & Intensivist in-house 24/7 Lead RT on each shift (resource & staffing support) Typically 15–20 RTs on days;
10–12 on nights Traveler will not work as sole RT Floating May float to:
Meridian Medical Center Nampa Medical Center Orientation Typically 2–3 shifts total 1 shift adult floor care 1 shift pediatrics (if applicable) 1 shift NICU (if covering) Additional ICU orientation if required Dress Code Any clean, professional scrub color
