Responsibilities
Intermountain Hospital is looking for a dynamic Activity Aide to work with a variety of patients! If you have a desire to work in an engaging environment with a team of professionals dedicated to the healing and health of the patients we serve, we want to hear from you!
The Activity Aide is responsible for planning and implementing activity services for the assigned program, which involves implementing treatment goals and providing continuous patient care, observation, interaction, and role modeling to patients under the direction of the Director of the Activity Therapy Department.
Shift: PRN
Intermountain Hospital, located in Boise, has been providing quality psychiatric and chemical dependency services to Idaho's Treasure Valley and the western U.S. since 1980. This 151‑bed facility is located on 10 beautiful acres near the foothills of Idaho's dramatic Sawtooth Mountains. QualificationsEducation: High School graduate required, some college preferred.
Experience: One year of related experience, with knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques and understanding of mental illness, preferred.
Licensure: First Aid/CPR (we will train).
Additional Requirements: Non‑Violent Crisis Intervention training prior to assisting with a restraining procedure and within 90 days of employment (we will provide training).
