Ultrasonographer in Boise, ID

An opportunity is available for an experienced professional with a strong background in imaging, specifically in general ultrasound. This contract role focuses on delivering high-quality diagnostic ultrasound services to support patient care within a dynamic healthcare environment.

Schedule/

Hours:

• 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Required Qualifications:

• Active certification in RDMS by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
• OB/GYN and Nuchal Translucency (NT) credentials required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• ARRT certification preferred but not mandatory
• Demonstrated skill and proficiency in general ultrasound imaging
• Ability to work efficiently and collaboratively within a clinical team
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general ultrasound exams, ensuring accuracy and optimal image quality
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals in reviewing and interpreting exam results
• Prepare and position patients for exams, explaining procedures and ensuring safety protocols are maintained
• Complete thorough documentation and maintain records in accordance with facility guidelines
• Ensure ultrasound equipment is maintained and operates according to established standards
• Provide compassionate, patient-focused care while maintaining confidentiality

$1,936 - $2,048/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
