Special Needs Child In-Home Respite Care Provider

Shift details

• Monday - Friday: 6:00 - 9:00 pm
• Occasionally, 3-4 hours over the weekends.
• In-home respite care services for our 8-year-old child

As a caregiver at Com For Care , you will play an essential role in our organization providing companionship, socialization, and basic needs support to our clients.

• A passion to serve and help children with special needs (from 3 years through 17).
• Must be flexible to work Monday-Friday 6:00 - 9:00 pm and occasionally on weekends.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Previous experience in providing care for children with special needs.

• Provide care and supervision to ensure the child’s health & safety.
• Attend to the Child’s basic self-help needs, including communication, socialization, and behavioral management.
• Organize activities to support learning and cognitive development.
• Assist with daily routines normally performed by family members. This includes assistance with the daily activities, including homework help, meal preparation & feeding, personal hygiene, toileting help, dressing, and light housekeeping
