Operations Staff

Boise Centre, Idaho's largest convention and event venue, is seeking Operations Staff to support high-profile meetings, conventions, and special events in downtown Boise. In this role, you'll set up and tear down event spaces, arrange furniture and staging, assist with catering layouts, and help keep rooms and back-of-house areas clean, safe, and guest-ready. You'll work closely with event managers, catering, AV, and facilities teams to deliver seamless events while gaining hands-on experience in hospitality and event operations in a professional, guest-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, tear down, and reset event spaces according to client specifications and event diagrams
• Assist with room layouts, staging, seating, signage, and audiovisual placement as directed
• Support catering operations by positioning tables, buffet lines, and service equipment
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of event areas, storage rooms, and back-of-house spaces
• Respond promptly to on-site client and guest needs during events
• Operate basic event equipment such as carts, lifts, and hand tools in a safe manner
• Coordinate with event managers, catering, AV, and facilities teams to ensure smooth operations
• Monitor inventory of event furniture, supplies, and equipment, reporting needs or damages
• Follow safety, security, and cleanliness standards and policies
• Provide professional, guest-focused service in a fast-paced event environment
