Dishwasher​/Kitchen Steward - Banquet Events

Boise Centre, Idaho's largest convention and event venue, is seeking a Kitchen Steward to support our busy culinary operations. The Kitchen Steward maintains a clean, safe, and organized kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and equipment; handling trash and recycling; and assisting with basic food prep and storage. This role works closely with chefs and banquet staff to ensure timely service for conferences, banquets, and special events while following health, safety, and sanitation standards in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
• Maintain cleanliness of dish room, kitchen floors, surfaces, and storage areas
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures
• Handle trash, compost, and recycling according to guidelines
• Assist with basic food prep and storage as directed by culinary staff
• Organize and restock kitchen tools, wares, and supplies
• Support banquet and catering operations by ensuring timely dish turnaround
• Report equipment or safety issues to supervisors promptly
• Work collaboratively with chefs, stewards, and banquet staff
• Uphold Boise Centre's hospitality and guest-focused service standards
