St. Luke’s is a nationally recognized healthcare organization where people like you drive our success. We are currently seeking a Director of Talent Development to join our health system.
The Director, Talent Development has system-wide responsibility for assessing, developing, implementing, and evaluating talent strategies and programs that promote a culture of continuous learning, leadership growth, and engaging learner experiences. This leader plays a critical role in advancing an integrated talent management approach—aligning development, performance, succession, and organizational capability to create a cohesive employee lifecycle experience.
As a key member of the Talent Center of Excellence
, this role partners across the organization to ensure talent development strategies are aligned to enterprise priorities and workforce planning needs. The Director leads the design, facilitation, and delivery of scalable learning and leadership programs that strengthen organizational capability, support onboarding and leader effectiveness, and influence behavioral, and paradigm shifts across the system.
- Align and reinforce enterprise talent and learning strategies to connect performance, development, succession, and engagement across the system.
- Evaluate learning and leadership programs to identify gaps, anticipate needs, and recommend scalable solutions.
- Conduct needs assessments and design programs that build leadership competencies.
- Partner with senior leaders, SMEs, and stakeholders to prioritize initiatives and implement strategic talent development plans.
- Collaborate across the system to deliver onboarding and leader effectiveness programs, ensuring consistent quality at all sites.
- Design, facilitate, and deliver audience-specific learning experiences tailored to diverse professional roles and learning styles.
- Facilitate and influence leaders and stakeholders to drive behavioral change, paradigm shifts, and adoption of learning initiatives.
- Monitor trends in talent development, vendors, and learning solutions, recommending best-in-class practices for current and future needs.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Organizational Development, or related field.
- 10 years of increasingly complex work as a leader in Talent Development and/or HR.
- Experience with both designing and delivering programs in a large, matrixed organization.
- Executive presence and proven experience influencing senior leaders and multiple stakeholders.
- A strong business acumen and planning/project management skills.
